We're excited to announce that after a year of waiting, the entire Animals Are People Too album is now available for free download! Please visit, www.thepeoplemusic.com/animals to download the album and for more information about the AAPT project. If you've been downloading each track over the past 12 months, we encourage you to re-download the album as it has been remastered to perfection.

As we've mentioned in recent GOODNEWSletters, a limited print hard copy of the album will be available at our final show this Friday, June 6th. The CD will also be free, but we will be taking donations if you feel led. All money raised goes to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) and HFA (Humane Farming Association) to help some very important animals who need our help.

At the show on Friday we will be holding a ultra-super-mega sale on all our merch. Not to sound like some bad infomercial, but all CDs will be $5... t-shirts $10 (which are almost gone) and posters $1. We will also have our usual free Samplers and Stickers.

OK, now that's done... We couldn't be more excited about this Friday's show and we hope to see you there.

Hello People!

We have two very big pieces of news to kick off this month. First, as always the new Animals Are People Too track, "You Can Tonight", is up and ready for download. (thepeoplemusic.com/animals) For those of you that have been following this project, you know that this will be the final track and next month the whole album will finally be available in it's entirety. More on that next month... now onto the bigger news...

You may have noticed that we've been taking it slow lately. For those of you that have been wondering why we disappeared, we thought it appropriate to finally make an official announcement. On June 6th The People will play our final show at The Berkley Front. In this sad, but necessary step in our lives we sincerely hope that you will all come out for one last hoorah in what has been an amazing four years. As hard as it will be, I can assure you that we are all very fired up and ready to play one last face melting show!

Though Sean is moving to New York, he and I want to assure you that we plan on continuing our musical partnership in some way or another. We've already been talking about releasing an EP of five new songs we recorded in one night last week, and have no intention of slowing down our musical output, even if it will be solely through the internet for the time being. With that being said we encourage you to continue checking both thepeoplemusic.com and our myspace page as we will continue to use them as a bulletin board for what's happening musically in our lives.

I would like to take a short paragraph to say thank you to Joe, Russ, and Ben for taking my little solo album and turning it into a fully functioning band that I truly believe kicked an enormous amount of ass. Jamming with you guys was always incredible and truly reached transcendental heights at times. I will always look back on this phase of my life with absolute joy and hope we all share a stage again at some point in the future.

We'd love more than anything to see all of you that have supported us over the years together for one last People show. You make the experience so much more rewarding and we want to make June 6th a memorable one. As the Animals Are People Too project will have reached it's completion we do plan on having a small number of promotional hard copies available at this show. So please come out for this epilogue of what has been a great journey and walk away with something new to remember us by.

We hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years. We're bringing in the new year the best way we know how... with brand new music!! For those of you who have been keeping up with our monthly internet only album, Animals Are People Too, then you know that it's that time again. The second of each month marks the release of the newest installment of the free internet only album. "Believe Me", track eight, is now available for download at the official Animals Are People Too website. www.thepeoplemusic.com/animals.

If this is your first time hearing about the project, Animals Are People Too is a new collection of original songs by The People available as digital downloads. You have one month to download each song before it's taken down and replaced by a new one culminating in twelve new studio recordings by May 2nd 2008. On June 2nd 2008, all twelve songs will be made available where they will remain (for free) for your downloading and listening pleasure! To add to the suspense we will also be releasing 1/12 of the cover art along with each new track!
